Obviously Scottish producers maintain that the best gin in the world is made in Scotland and Bardowie is right up in the top echelon of those, having won a Bronze Medal in its category for the first and so far only competition that Bardowie Gin has entered; it is run by the Scottish field magazine and covers most of the gins made in Scotland. All the gins entered across the categories were ‘blind’ tasted and Bardowie Gin came in 4th overall – not bad for a product that had not yet seen its first birthday
